Review:
Don Jon (formerly known as Don dependence Jöns) is the feature debut by director Joseph ridiculously talented and charismatic Gordon-Levitt. He also wrote the script plays the main character, a young man from New Jersey whose development: a) an unhealthy addiction to porn, b) have unrealistic expectations about sex and love (and sex) is not 10 as Barbara (Scarlett Johansson may be ridiculous, in what is easily his best work since Vicky Cristina Barcelona) to meet him in real life.Don Jon reminded me of a big half-forgotten film, French Bertrand Flyers Too Beautiful for You (1989). In the film, rich obchodníks cars (Gérard Depardieu), who has everything? including a beautiful wife (Carole Bouquet)? fall on it sooner, slightly overweight secretary (Josiane Balasko). Don Jon also like Fliers film in the sense that Jon finds ten, but hes still not happy. Both films are very different in tone, aesthetics and geography, but are carefully touched our own mistakes and emotional immaturity. We live in a world where a growing concern about our own image, and the belief that we must follow the standards of beauty unattainable to find a decent game has become so out of hand that V & scaron , everything you ever do is find obstacles to get to know someone that does not meet our requirements for laughs. Always wait for illusory perfection. Levitt suddenly shows this problem by porn addiction can be rough for some, but manages to get into too much vulgarity or humor.Also WC always shown great Julianne Moore in important role, and Glenne Headly (I lost it on the big screen), Tony Danza and Brie Larson as parents and sister Jons, Don Jon worth a visit. Here's hoping for more legislative efforts JGL!
