When Blu, the domesticated macaw from small-town Minnesota, meets the fiercely independent Jewel, he takes off on an adventure in Rio de Janeiro with this bird of his dreams.
Oh, how I'd be back in the cage, with my mirror, and my bellJesse Eisenberg bit should be forever grateful for Network Oscar-nominated category was issued before Rio. Because it is his voice as Blu, macaw, so exquisite and perfect, in my mind he will always be Blu. And if Rio was released months ago, audiences around the world think that Mark Zuckerberg, Facebook founder, missed his cage, mirror and little bell. Now, for the movie itself? Location, location, location. Because what Rio, movies, without (pulsating, colorful, exuberant, romantic) Rio, a city? The story is interesting, though predictable. characters are wooden, even 3D and furry. But predictable and cards are notorious I could possibly link to Rio. Rio Conventions, is that I laughed all the way through it, like everyone else theater.Blu, the last male of his kind, a macaw happy, out of the snowy town and Linda, his nerdy owner. Gem, her last in his class, living in Brazil, and the saddest macaw, closed in a cage and fight for his freedom. He is a free-spirited soul, the world at his feet. Blu has lived a sheltered life, cant fly, and loves every minute of it. What happens when they meet? Anyone over the age of 7 can guess how it ends (age 5 if he's seen the trailer). But there is much joy from the first minute to the last, you will not want to end.I is one of the few lucky enough to watch the premiere of Rio in Rio, and at this point I can hardly wait to see it again. Brazil, Carlos Saldanha, directed the film, and it shows. description of the city are all there, but so are the big picture (you know, all the things that really matter, including large panoramas of Rio at night, crowded beach, sunset cable car on the Santa Teresa). Lots of spectacular aerial view of the action scenes. The main characters are the birds fly so should be expected. Many of these places appeared in the film can be visited by tourists.Rio lacks the depth of the story, such as Toy Story or Up. The plot is simple. It is, however, pure fun from beginning to end, and visually stunning. Location, location, location. As the inhabitants of Rio, I realize most of the area, and stunned in the slums how real, and how the geography of the city, especially the mountains, can be so painstakingly reproduced. The film is not a musical, but is close to it. There is Funk, Bossa nova, some clich? S of Brazilian samba music and even singing in English (still disputes about it!). There is also a drawing of the transportation of animals, century-old problem in Brazil, and the subplot of a young man living on the streets and must resort to petty crime, which adds up to the most important social commentary.By all means, do not miss this movie!
