Review:
Very underrated modernization of the classic Shakespeare play. This movie is pretty strong criticism of the government outlandishness cinematography, but knows when to mitigate the often frenetic pace of the narrative during the dramatic scenes, and in fact, this ratio tends to strengthen their power. Beautifully choreographed and shot, wonderfully acted and the supporting cast and the two main stars, Leonardo DiCaprio and Claire Danes, and a very clever modernization of techniques for dialogue. All the dialogue Elizabethan remains the same, but everything seems consistent with a modern setting. mostly good photos, and double meaning phrases (eg swords are the model of weapon, or flash money when quoting the gold.). One of the best adaptations of Shakespeare are many who have come to the cinema in recent years.
