Review:
Im a big fan of comics and 2000AD character Judge Dredd in 1979, and this film, I was completely satisfied. They changed all the right things and do all the right things. Director Pete Travis solve the problem of recording stripe to make something that looks nothing like the cartoon and more like an action film shot on location with a simple linear plot kept rolling and never slowing dovn.Megaciti one makes much less of a futuristic cartoon to be so compelling that is difficult to know which ones are the real slums of Cape Town end and CGI mile high city blocks start. I have a nasty feeling that for less than a hundred years that cities like this thing ekist.The strip judges of unique works on paper, but in real life Cant - Large golden eagles, straps and brass nameplate hanging from leather one piece suit to fall, wobble and look crazy. The film gives us armor that looks as if it is actually used while holding the helmet the same. The effect is striking and authentic, like everything else in this film.The plot revolves around a drug that makes time seem to slow down a hundred times, a perfect excuse for scenes of ultra Slo-mo explosives bloody (and beautiful) anatomically correct violence this movie earn its 18 Rating Not kids movie at all. Each supporting role seems to have left the gang documentary, scarred, dirty, sweaty and funds. Lena Headey breaks down completely as the ruthless gang lord ma ma, quietly enjoying the life of your enemies, in the eyes of drug sledding addiction.In way this is Olivia Thirlbis movie because it has the character arc, got rookie Judge Cassandra Anderson Dredd for assessing and finding themselves in very steep learning curve. She is vulnerable, prickly and hard as you suggested, it is very important for the film to state Dredd.Hov play Dredd? He is the opposite of the character. He has no personal arc does not change or grow. He has no sense of humor, says comic that putting a completely deadpan ol rock face in ironic situations reflecting off it. And where the actor is ready to carry everything but the helmet covers his mouth and chin for the whole 95 minutes? Karl Urban being a big fan I play the role right.
